About the Location
Treat your family to a fabulous week of fun and relaxation at our large, private property on beautiful Healey Lake. We welcome you to our cozy 3 bedroom cottage where you can experience endless sunny and shady spots to play or relax with a spacious dock for your boat and a deck that offers lots of great seating lakeside. We are located at one of the points of Healey Lake, boasting a very large, extremely private but not isolated lot with panoramic views of the lake. The cottage is water access only so bring your own boat or access the water taxi available if needed. Lakeshore Marina and Mariner's Cove are the two marinas on the lake that offer boat launching, boat, pontoon, seadoo and water toy rental available as well as a water taxi. The cottage is not accessible by car. It's time to kick back and relax and enjoy everything that nature has to offer. As you walk into our cottage, the first thing you will notice is the idyllic and calm lake view that will put a smile on your face. The cottage is cozy and charming and with the right amenities to help you disconnect and enjoy the Canadian outdoors.
About the Space
Our kitchen has an open concept layout and is fully appointed with a fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, stove, dishes, cutlery, common cooking utensils, cookware etc. There is also large propane BBQ accessible on the deck as well as an outdoor deep fryer for your cooking needs. The kitchen opens up to a large dining and living area which includes a eat up counter area as well as a large dining table to enjoy your family meals together or spread yourselves out on the wrap around deck where you will find additional seating.There are hardwood floors throughout the cottage extending into the 3 bedrooms. In the 3 piece bath you will find ceramic tile. The complete floor plan all can be found on the main floor. In the living room there is a big screen smartTV, DVD player and many board games to play too.
Outside the cottage you will find a newly built outdoor shower and an outhouse on the property. The bunkie located adjacent to the main cottage has additional sleeping space and a great location for the overflow of guests to enjoy. Waterfront includes a paddle boat, kayaks, paddle board, fishing poles, life jackets, swim platform, hammock and lots of dock space. Perfect for families with children young and old. Gently sloping, shallow water entry or jump off the end of the dock where the water is much deeper. Enjoy the choice of using 2 bonfire pits, one up near the cottage and the other near the water, equipped with a cooking grill/wires and lots of seating.
As the safety of our clients is our primary concern we have installed onsite a security system as well as included professional cleaning and sanitizing after each rental. We ask that you bring your own linens and towels for your stay.
